I've dreamt you nude
your soul
bared in your words
I've held you
firm in my hearing
gentle in my understanding
We've wrapped around
and within one another
Touched tender spots
rarely shown
Thrust hard and deep
into our beliefs
sometimes conflicting
but neither refusing
the other
Spent and tired
we still go on
exploring
till our bodies slow
and we slip into slumber
mid sentence

Traveling

Traveling

Books
burned down to singles

and those read and enjoyed
returned

Music
turned down low
and those heard and touched
sung

Movies
an uncommon sight
and those viewed and moved
remembered

Privacy
left at customs

Possessions
what can be carried in the heart or on the back

Money
doing that which is needed to obtain that which is wanted

Experience
attaining that which is at the end of desire

Witch Room

Witch Room

My Lady is in the night sky
reflecting my Lord's light thru the window
I study at my altar of learning
Modern texts
Tomorrow's ancient ways
Probing words of all humans
Gleaning the truths
that lead us all home
The candles flicker
The shadows dance
My education rocks and rolls
Herbs distilled
Crystals cleansed
Animal totems welcomed
Gratitude given to life in all it's myriad forms
My broom has swept away my mind's cobwebs
My wand has cast the circle border
My sphere becomes the universe
the universe my sphere
and I begin the work to be carried on
as I walk the talk

Lives

Lives

Circle
Eternal
Unending
The same sphere
Never the same path
Higher mountains
Lower valleys
Joyous hills
Depressed ravines
Up where the air is thin
and living seems illusionary
Down where the ground is solid
and thinking is clear
The continuous trail
on one orbiting globe
Forever recycling
ever regenerating
over
and over
again
Virgin

Elemental You

Elemental You

You surround me
in a cloak of air
then pass through me
like the breeze of an oncoming storm
that almost was

You swim in me
in the primordial water of my cells
Floating
the crest of a wave
that lies dormant

You support me
grown deep in the root
A seed
in dark soil
waiting to burst its shell

You simmer
bubbling gently
An ember
amber hot
holding
